About the Greater Princeton Area SCORE Chapter:
Our chapter has more than 40 volunteer members, and we are continuing to recruit highly qualified new members to meet the rapidly growing demand for our services.
- In 2008 our Chapter embarked on a plan to better serve our clients by providing extended counseling hours, increasing the number and range of our counseling locations.
- During 2008, our chapter served more than 2500 clients, a 44% increase over 2007.
- This FY our volumes are running 51% ahead of the same YTD figures since October 1, 2008
- We have recruited several new volunteers that bring skills needed to serve existing businesses.
- Our Chapter provides convenient hours at 5 locations as well as evening hours to better serve you.
- We continue to provide seminars and workshops in needed areas at no cost to our clients.
- Our volunteers often help other organizations also committed to serving the small business community.
- We partner with several other organizations within Mercer & Middlesex counties so that we can continue to offer counseling, mentoring, seminars, workshops, and other events for free.
- We are hosting a Small Business Fair with the Princeton Library to bring small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs together with government agencies, non-profit community organizations, and other firms to share information and advice.
